Biography & Overview

Oystar play lyrical tunes that are guaranteed to give you a grin while you bop along to the ska-folk storytelling style. Originating in the Camberwell area of London, these guys have only been playing together since January 2008, and they've already played Glastonbury and the Secret Garden Party, supported Chas and Dave and had a number 25 hit with 'I fought the Lloyds' earlier this year. Dan and Kev are both guitarists and vocalists, assisted by keyboard player Ben Jammin' and bassist, trumpeteer and lead guitarist Jimbob Marley.
