Biography & Overview

Lulu and the Luvvers were a British beat band fronted by Scottish singer and actress Lulu. The original band line-up was Alex Bell (vocals), Ross Neilson (lead guitar), James Dewar (rhythm guitar), Tommy Tierney (bass guitar), David Mullin (drums) and Jimmy Smith (saxophone). Their best known singles are 'Shout' (1964) and 'Satisfied' (1965). The spelling of the band name is a particularly tricky one. Many, many versions of it have been printed on single sleeves
